Nuremberg to host a symposium on the 150th anniversary of the birth of Siegfried Wagner
Saturday, 19 October 2019, 11.00 a.m. to approx. 17.00 p.m.

This year marks the 150th birthday of Siegfried Wagner, the son of Richard Wagner, who was born on the
6 June 1869 in Tribschen near Lucerne.
The symposium aims to illuminate Siegfried Wagner's life and work as Director of the Bayreuth Festival. Prof. Dr. Peter P. Pachl, the leading researcher on Siegfried Wagner, will familiarise attendees with unknown aspects of the life of Wagner's son.
Lectures on further aspects of Siegfried Wagner's artistic works will complement the event.
Please let us know if you wish to attend, so that we can arrange suitable catering.
For guests from overseas, we can offer overnight accommodation in the conference hotel in addition to organising a programme for Sunday, October 20, 2019 in our beautiful Mastersinger city of Nuremberg.
