November in Melbourne, The Richard Wagner Society (Victoria, Australia) is hosting preperformance
opera presentations by Professor Heath Lees. Appropriately they will be held at St
John’s Lutheran Church, Southgate, 5 minutes’ walk to Melbourne’s Arts Centre. For further

Greg Eldridge wins The Richard Wagner Society (Victoria)’s Young Musician Award 2018
Greg Eldridge, a young up?and?coming director, has won the Society’s Young Musician Award 2018.
His prize is accommodation and tickets for the 2018 Bayreuth Festival. Greg was a Jette Parker
scholar at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. In 2013 he worked with Maestro Negus in Longborough and then as Assistant Director for Neil Armfeld’s 2016 Melbourne Ring.
