Overall, she did no fewer than 35 roles, of which several for the first time.
Birgit Nilsson, 100 years, begins at the Royal Opera with the Jubilee Concert May 19, 2018 and ends with the Birgit Nilsson Prize in October 2018. The Royal Opera also plans a Birgit Nilsson 100-year exhibition around in the opera house and a special guided tour for all Swedish and foreign tourists who are curious on Sweden’s biggest opera star over the years.
