Letter from President Fineske regarding changes to the Symposium in Berlin, January 2020
Symposium: "70 years Neubayreuth" 1951 - 2021
Unfortunately, we have to inform you about some changes to our International Symposium "70 Years of Neubayreuth".
Ars Musica will not be organising the travel invitation due to the pandemic. Therefore some new arrangements are in place.
The Assembly of Delegates on 29.01.21 at 10:00 a.m. will be held with simultaneous translation in English and French. Separate invitations will follow to Wagner Societies.
The symposium on Saturday 30.01.21 and Sunday 31.01.21 will take place in the Deutsche Oper at the time listed on the brochure below.
The performance of Siegfried is planned thus far to take place according to schedule, this will be the third performance. Please make your own bookings at the Deutsche Oper, (Siegfried), the Staatsoper, (Frau ohne Schatten), and the Komische Oper, (premiere Gypsy Baron), and visit their websites to find out more or register by telephone. For telephone numbers please refer to our flyer.
As hotels we suggest the Steigenberger and Intercity-Hotel at the main station or alternatively the Hotel Bristol at Kurfürstendamm/Fasanenstraße, (former Hotel Kempinski) or the Leonardo Hotel at the Deutsche Oper.
A little tip from us: Please book via Booking.com or Hotel.de, so that you can cancel free of charge.
We reserve the right to make changes, and please note that all other programme events mentioned in the flyer are now no longer going to take place.
With best regards
Rainer Fineske
