The Frankfurt group saw two of the outstanding productions currently offered by the Glyndebourne Festival - Handel's Giulio Cesare, directed by David McVicar and Strauss's Roskenkavalier, directed by Richard Jones. Both were deemed excellent and the group enjoyed the experience greatly - benefitting also from a private tour of the house and the backstage areas, including the famous "Old Green Room", along with a classic Glyndebourne picnic one evening and the fine buffet in one of the several on-site restaurants on the other.
The group also visited Hever Castle (photo attached), along with Wisley(the Royal Horticultural Society's showpiece gardens), Chertwell (former seat of Winston Churchill) and Brighton with it famous Royal Pavillion.
