Opera North Parsifal to go ahead in 2022
From Opera North
Following the initial disappointment at having to postpone our 2021 tour, I am delighted to confirm that performances of Parsifal have now been rescheduled to take place throughout June 2022. Opening at Leeds Grand Theatre, the production will tour to venues across the country before culminating in a final performance at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Further information on securing tickets to these performances will be shared with you in the coming months.
In what will be a highlight of the 2021/22 operatic calendar, we are thrilled that Richard Farnes will return to conduct a superb cast including Brindley Sherratt as Gurnemanz, Katarina Karnéus as Kundry and Toby Spence in his role debut as Parsifal.
After such a difficult year for us all, it is heartening to be able to share this news with you.
