Staatstheater Karlsruhe nominated in three categories for the International Opera Awards
Firstly, the 2017 production of Wahnfried by Avner Dorman has been nominated in the category World Premiere.
Directors David Hermann (Rheingold and other productions) and Tobias Kratzer (Götterdämmerung, Die Meistersinger and other productions) are up for the Director's Award.
The chorus of the Badisches Staatstheater performed on the recent Erato recording of The Trojans, which is nominated in the category Recording - Complete Opera.
Needless to say the management and company of the Badisches Staatstheater are all delighted at these nominations.
