Passing of Wagner Gesellschaft Japan President, Professor Yukio Miyake
Professor Miyake founded the WS Japan in 1980, which, thanks to his profound musical knowledge and professional engagement, became a highly active and successful Society.
During his many years as President, the RWG Japan grew into one of the largest societies in terms of its membership with a lively and highly sophisticated programme of activities.
The Richard-Wagner-Verband International acknowledges Professor Miyake's great service to the promotion of Richard Wagner's works and we will always hold his memory in great esteem.
